Season 5 is starting out strong with a panic induced double identity reveal 😬

Idk, I’m just thinking about how Marinette is doubting everyone AND herself rn. She couldn’t tell that wasn’t Adrien on the train, so how would she know that wasn’t Adrien in the middle of her meltdown? How could she know if Adrien wasn’t helping Félix - playing a part in the the whole plan, working an angle. He could have been trying to get her to detransorm in a moment of vulnerability and then discover her identity… He did throw the door open - we know it was in order to comfort her, but had she seen that, it could have easily been misinterpreted. All she knows for sure is that she was tricked 🤔 On the flip side, how is Chat going to help ladybug hunt down and interrogate Adrien if he can’t be two people at once - that’s what got him into trouble and got Félix the Miraculous in the first place.

***It’s time for some honesty, because all the secrets are finally having consequences.
